North Central Washington Dahlia Society

The North Central Washington Dahlia Society (NCWDS) is a group of passionate growers serving as an educational resource on growing dahlias in our unique climate. This is an organization of people who are dedicated to growing quality blooms, both for fun and for exhibition and sharing through their experiences. New growers are encouraged to join, as joining your local society is the fastest way to learn how to grow, dig, divide, share, and show the best blooms. We are affiliated with the national American Dahlia Society (ADS) and the Federation of NW Dahlia Growers (FNWDG).

We maintain a demonstration garden at the Confluence Health campus located at 820 N. Chelan Avenue in Wenatchee, Washington, in between the Smith and Mares buildings. As well as a demonstration garden at Rocky Reach Dam, NW Treasures Garden for the 2024 National Show. Every spring, we sell dahlia tubers to the public, at Pybus Public Market. Our annual dahlia show is held at Pybus Public Market. Each spring and fall classes are held through Pybus University, classes are free and for the public, registration required.
