The North Central Washington Dahlia Society (NCWDS) serves as the local branch of the National Dahlia Society. In order to best serve the general public on growing dahlias in our unique climate. This is an organization of people who are dedicated to growing quality blooms, both for fun and for exhibition. New growers are encouraged to join, as joining your local society is the fastest way to learn how to grow, dig, divide, and show the best blooms. We are affiliated with the national American Dahlia Society (ADS) and the Federation of NW Dahlia Growers (FNWDG).
We maintain a demonstration garden at the Confluence Health campus located at 820 N. Chelan Avenue in Wenatchee, Washington, in between the Smith and Mares buildings. Every spring, we sell dahlia tubers to the public, at Pybus Public Market. Our annual dahlia show is held at Pybus Public Market the last weekend in September. Each spring and fall classes are held through Pybus University, classes are free and for the public, registration required.
